At The Core
Australian Bug Detection Group is a team of TSCM specialists based in Melbourne, providing technical surveillance countermeasures to corporate, government and private clients across Australia since 2014. We find hidden listening devices, cameras, GPS trackers and phone spyware, and we help organisations keep their most sensitive conversations private.
Every sweep is led by our director, Alan Earl, an internationally trained technical specialist, alongside his team. Larger sites and multi-room programs are handled by a team of four. Projects are never subcontracted to another provider, so the person who scopes your job is the person who carries it out and signs the report.
A professional sweep is more than walking a room with a detector. Each job combines several detection methods, because no single tool finds every device:
After every sweep you receive a written report of what was examined and what was found, suitable for a board, risk committee or legal adviser.
Our clients include corporate boards and executives, government agencies, high-net-worth individuals and private households. We never name our clients or discuss their work, and we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before we start.
Our director has been interviewed on the Channel 7 Morning Show (2021), for News Corp’s Eye Spy podcast and Herald Sun coverage (2021), and by The Westsider (2018) about the realities of bug sweeping in Australia.
Every site is different, so every job is quoted individually after a confidential conversation about your concern and, for businesses, a review of your floor plan. Depending on the size of the site, a job takes from about four hours to a couple of weeks.
If you think your premises or phone may be compromised, call us from a phone outside the area of concern on 0410 092 207, or use our contact form.
